Astashica is alive with creatures both wild and engineered — from jungle raptors like the Zar’kael to venomous horrors like the Zarkhuns. Some serve as mounts or scouts. Others hunt in shadows, born from lost experiments or ancient memory. These beasts are not just wildlife — they are survivors, weapons, and warnings.

🐾 Domesticated & Tamed Beasts

• Zar’kael – Swift jungle raptors with muzzles and spike stirrups; used as mounts, scouts, and transport animals. Often traded in Vel’thara.
• Skuthra – Large pack beasts used for hauling; slow but enduring.
• Verdant Cattle – Domesticated livestock once raised by Tlandar’s family in Verdantis Nexus.

🐺 Wild Predators & Hostile Fauna

• Zarkhuns – Horned, black-furred summit predators that hunt in packs. They drip acidic venom and emit laughter-like howls in the dark.
• Zharvakri Phantoms – Spectral entities that haunt the burned ruins of Zharvakri.
• Marsh Howlers – Elusive creatures lurking in the Leipiran marshes; rarely seen, but known to tear skimmer crews apart.
