Tlandar Varn was born a humble cattle rancher in the pastoral village of Verdantis Nexus. After his homeland was razed by Ixtielan marauders, he was chosen by the mysterious spirit of Astashica to become its protector. Trained by Akashma Xil’ha and armed with ancient Xothek knowledge, Tlandar rose to master the towering Formicron mechas and command the loyalty of fractured dominions. A descendant of the Asemeri bloodlines yet gifted with unique Acheron-compatible genetics, he is the only being alive capable of interfacing with the planet’s ancient technologies. Tlandar began his journey as a humble cattle herder in Verdantis Nexus. In those early days, he carried a long, sturdy staff crafted from dark ipe wood — a simple but trusted tool used to guide his family's herds across the misty pastures.
But as war engulfed the land and destiny called him forward, that staff was set aside.
Following the death of Chieftain Val’katl, the elder warrior entrusted Tlandar with his sacred twin blades — Khalzir and Azaruk — a matched pair of Kuprix-forged khopesh swords. These curved weapons, resonating with deep Asemeri power, are more than blades: they are the ancestral symbols of a chieftain’s authority. Passed only to those deemed worthy, their gift marked the moment Tlandar stepped beyond his past — no longer a herder of cattle, but a protector of worlds.
